Temple Dance Poses: The art and culture of India has been very influential to [email protected] and bellydance in general. In this new collaborative DVD, we will explore poses based on Indian Temple Dance inspired carvings and paintings. Flow through these beautiful postures as a moving meditation, a warm up for your dance practice, or a cool down after a vigorous class. You will also be able to follow us through Devyani's "Indian Temple Poses" choreography (also known as the Extended Puja).
Yoga: Yoga postures, or asanas, build strength and increase flexibility throughout the entire body. The yoga poses presented were handpicked for ATS® dancers and include detailed instruction, demonstration, variations and modifications for all levels of dancers and yoginis.
Also included are two breathing exercises, known as pranayama, to help increase lung capacity and stamina. These two limbs of yoga will greatly improve your ATS® technique and help keep your body conditioned to enjoy many dancing years ahead.
Includes an hour of instruction and an hour of guided practice.
